| For: | This decoration was awarded to individuals and collectives who greatly contributed to the development of Vietnamese culture and information. When the Ministry of Culture and Information was changed to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Information and Communication, the decoration was changed to the Commemorative Medal "For the development of Culture, Sports, and Tourism" and the Commemorative Medal "For the development of Information and Communication". | |||
| Design: | Gold flower-shaped breast badge, 35mm across with suspension ribbon. | |||
| Obverse: | Gold flower-shaped with 8 petals, on an embossed 8-pointed star, a central round disk with a red lotus, 4 stylized letters VHTT in red and Dong Son drum pattern in gold, surrounded by a red ring with the gold inscription "VI SU NGHIEP VAN HOA THONG TIN" above and 2 rice branches. | |||
| Reverse: | embossed little square pattern, in the middle is the name and the phone number of the manufacturer. | |||
| Suspension: | "hero" style | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 16mm x 27mm, gold outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric. | |||
