| Design: | This decoration was awarded to individuals and collectives who have great contributions to the development of the education sector in Vietnam. This decoration was then changed to Commemorative Medal form. This award is considered annually once and given to each individual only once. | |||
| Obverse: | the top half is a half round shape with gold background, the outer ring has the inscription "VI SU NGHIEP GIAO DUC" (For the Development of Education" in gold, the bottom half is a white opening book; in the middle is a torch with a red flame surrounded by the white smoke which is also an atom symbol. | |||
| Reverse: | plain gold background | |||
| Suspension: | "hero" style | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 16mm x 28mm, gold outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric. | |||
