| For: | This decoration was awarded to individuals who greatly contributed to the development of Banking in Vietnam. This decoration was then changed to Commemorative Medal "Vì sự nghiệp ngân hàng Việt Nam" (For the development of Vietnamese Banking). This award is considered annually on the anniversary of the establishment of Banking in Vietnam (May 6th) and given to each individual only once. | |||
| Design: | Blue five-petal flower-shaped breast badge, 37mm across with suspension ribbon. | |||
| Obverse: | on a blue five-petal flower shape, an embossed gold five-pointed star on top, a central round disk with the image of the State Bank in yellow on blue background; surrounded by a gold outer ring with the inscription "VI SU NGHIEP" (For the Development) and "NGAN HANG" (Banking) in red. | |||
| Reverse: | lain gold background | |||
| Suspension: | "hero" style | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 16mm x 33mm, silver outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric with a yellow stripe in the middle. | |||
