| Design: | Gold decagram breast badge, 36mm across, with suspension ribbon; | |||
| Obverse: | on a gold decagram and an embossed five-pointed gold star, a central gold disk with a gold broadcast antenna on red background, surrounded by a gold outer ring with the inscription above "VI SU NGHIEP" (For the development) and below "TRUYEN HINH" (Television) in red. (The antenna was also the logo of Vietnam Television in the period of 1987-1996 before the logo was changed to the current logo VTV.); | |||
| Reverse: | plain gold background; | |||
| Suspension: | gold frame with ribbon in the "hero" style; | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 25mm x 10mm, gold outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric; | |||
