| Obverse: | on a red decagram, a gold five-pointed star and a gold round disk in the middle with the side portrait of President Ho Chi Minh. Below is the inscription "VÌ THẾ HỆ TRẺ" (For younger generations) in gold on red background. | |||
| Reverse: | gold background and the inscription "ĐOÀN THANH NIÊN CỘNG SẢN HỒ CHÍ MINH" (Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union). | |||
| Suspension: | "hero" style | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 13mm x 27mm, silver outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric with two yellow stripes on the sides. | |||
