| For: | This decoration was awarded or posthumously awarded to individuals who greatly contributed to the development of Transportation sector in Vietnam. This was then changed to Commemorative medal and given to each individual only once. | |||
| Design: | Gold five-pointed star breast badge, 44mm across with suspension ribbon. | |||
| Obverse: | on a gold five-pointed star, a central round disk with red background and a gold outer border as a steering wheel, inside are the images of a train and an anchor (symbols of road, railway and waterway transportation). Below is a red band with the gold inscription "GTVT" (Transportation). | |||
| Reverse: | gold background with the inscription "VÌ SỰ NGHIỆP GTVT 28.8.1945" (For the development of Transportation 28.8.1945). | |||
| Suspension: | "hero" style | |||
| Ribbon: | rectangle, size 13mm x 26mm, gold outer border, the inside is covered with red fabric. | |||
