The Diploma of Merit (Bằng Khen) is an award given as a recognition of individual efforts by the military and many various administrative authorities. It is sometimes known as Certificate of Commendation. It is a higher level than the Certificate of Commendation (Giấy Khen).
The specific format of the certificate is based on the issuing authority, with some variations over the time they have been used. However, generally the certificate fields and their arrangements are similar for each type.
