O-08 NATIONAL UNITY ORDER
  Huân chương Đại đoàn kết dân tộc

The 26 November 2003 regulations established the order and specified the award criteria as :

  Article 49.-
  The "Great National Unity Order" shall be conferred or posthumously conferred on individuals who have a long process of devotion, have rendered great meritorious services and recorded exceptionally outstanding achievements in the cause of building the great national unity block.

The 30 September 2005 implementation guidelines provide more detail on award criteria :

  Article 37. National Unity Order
  National Unity Order to donate or give to people with meritorious contributions to building a great unity of all people, achieving one of the following criteria:
  1. People with meritorious contributions or initiatives in proposing advocates and achievements in mobilizing the strata of the people to respond to and organize effective implementation and practical contributions to the Great Solidarity career the whole nation.
  2. Persons who have a process of continuous dedication to the cause of great national unity, have held the posts of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee for 10 years. or more or at least 15 years in a row, acting as the head of the member organizations in the Front system at the provincial level or higher.
  3. Officials in charge of Front work have 20 years or more working history, are provincial and city emulation soldiers or have been awarded certificates of merit from the Prime Minister.
  4. The staff, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, typical businessmen and overseas Vietnamese have deserved achievements in mobilizing and building the Great People unity block. The clan was recognized and proposed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

The 19 May 2006 regulations (re?)designed the order :

  Article 14. "National Unity Order"
  Stalk Medallion outlines yellow, clear with Rayon silk woven in two colors: the left half is dark red, the right half is red flag, the core is red gold plated with Nico alloy thickness of 3 microns; size 28mm x 14mm.
  Medal strip stylized A-shaped, with Rayon silk woven in two colors: the left half is dark red, the right half is red flag, the core is red gold plated with Nico alloy thick 3 microns; size 28mm x 51mm x 41mm x 51mm.
  Body Huan chapter of stylized star, in the middle is the image of President Ho Chi Minh on the lotus station shines brightly, above is the words "National Unity Order" (red), below is the golden silk strip with the words "Vietnam" (Red). The outer diameter of the star top equals 39mm, the material of red copper plated with Nico alloy is 3 microns thick.

The 15 April 2010 decree updated the 30 September 2005 implementation guidelines :

  Article 37. "National Unity Order"
  "National Unity Order" to give or give to people with meritorious contributions to building a great unity of the people, achieving one of the following criteria:
  1. Having made contributions or initiatives in proposing guidelines and achievements in mobilizing people from all walks of life to respond to and organize effective implementation, contributing practically to the cause of great unity. nation.
 

2. There is a continuous process of dedication to the cause of the great national unity, having held the posts of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee for 10 years. up or have at least 15 years of continuous leadership position of member organizations in the Front system at provincial level or higher.

Persons specified in this Clause who have been awarded or granted medals of all kinds according to the provisions of Clause 1 of Articles 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 of this Decree shall not be considered for donation. (or giving away) "National Unity Order".

  3. The staff, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, typical businessmen and overseas Vietnamese have deserved achievements in mobilizing and building the Great People unity block. The clan was recognized and proposed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
